AGRIBISNIS
PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AAL), in which the Company has interest, is one of the largest plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
The Company's subsidiary in the agribusiness sector is PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AAL) produced 1.1 million tonnes of Crude Palm Oil (CPO).
In 2009, AAL managed 264,000 hectares (ha) of oil palm plantations of which 207,000 ha is core plantation and 57,000 ha plasma plantation. During the year AAL operated 20 oil palm processing mills, with a total capacity of 940 tonnes TBS/hour.
